Night Walks will consist of a series of sound performances and listening pieces presented in outdoor spaces at night. The activities will be based on Davide’s current research on sound, space, body, and the staging of specific actions that involve the use of microphones and loudspeakers. Each night will have its own program and will be designed in relation to the encountered spaces.
Walks held on June 14th, 15th and 16th. See times and meeting locations below.
Artist talk held on June 14th at the The Branch Museum of Architecture and Design, 6:45pm to 7:45. Walk following and starting at The Branch Museum at 8pm.
Walk Schedule:
Thursday, June 14: 8pm to 10 pm (Directions: Meet at the Branch Museum, Walk 25-30 minutes to performance site, performance is roughly 45 minutes in length, walk 25-30 minutes back to Branch museum.)
Friday, June 15: 8pm to 10:30 pm (Directions: Meet at the Richmond Public Library Main Branch, carpool 25 minutes to performance site, performance is roughly 1 hour 15 mins in length, carpool 25 minutes back to Richmond Public Library.)
Saturday, June 16: 9:30pm to 11 pm (Directions: Meet at the Libby Hill Overlook in Church Hil, Walk 20 minutes to performance site, performance is roughly 45 minutes in length, walk 20 minutes back to Libby Hill Park.)
